Ok, so it’s been awhile. I think we should start be reintroducing ourselves. My name is Heather and I am horrible about updating blog posts. I am not going to make this first post about my re-commitment to posting on a weekly basis because lets face it, that’s probably not going to happen. I am a single mother of three kids ages 12, 11, and a threenager….yup. I also have a few jobs that result in a constant shuffling of schedules and appointments to satisfy all my responsibilities. But photography, photography is my first love. I have been shooting for 12 years and my style is constantly changing and adapting. This blog isn’t intended to brag or show off my work, but rather a place where I can revisit and see my growth over the years, it’s basically my journal so treat it kindly people.
I met Aubrey at the Marry Me Market in Rigby at The Venue seriously, you have to check it out. She and Hayden had such an excitement about them and I knew the second I pulled into her grandparents driveway that this would be a session to put in the books. We spent the evening chilling with the friendliest horses I have ever seen in my life. They were infatuated with Aubrey and her dress. Speaking of the dress, Aubrey ordered it on the internet and it was beautiful! I’m not sure if it was the fact that she didn’t waste thousands of dollars on a dress or her appreciation for moments to be captured, but Aubrey was such a trooper as we hiked up hills and through some pretty intense brush (see if you can spot the tennis shoes in one of her photos). We finished with the setting sun and grandma and grandpa set a seat for me at the dinner table, it was perfection. One of the best parts of my job is getting to watch love displayed in so many ways. Each of us has a unique way of showing how we care for people and it is fascinating to see how couples interact with each other. I will forever love this session and I hope the same for Aubrey and Hayden. You two are the greatest and I wish you so much joy in the coming years together. You two have a visible connection to each other and make sure to always remember how you felt about each other at this point in time. My hope is that your love only gets stronger.
