Lila Lou turns 1!

Cake smashes are a great way to ring in your “baby” turning 1! It is such a sweet age and they could not be more excited to have real sugar for the first time. Lila Lou was the sweetest princess with her birthday crown for an accessory, which is a adorable trend for little ones right now.

Lila’s mother brought the most darling accessories and outfits for a memorable shoot. Lila wanted to play with everything and was more than eager to smile for me. It’s only once that your baby turns one which can be a little emotional. My solution? Make it a fun, bright and a one of a kind celebration and all you’ll be able to do is look back on it and smile.

Seniors are so different to photograph compared to newborns and families. They have such enthusiasm for their upcoming future and can’t wait to graduate whereas newborns are calm and quiet and all you want to do is admire them.

Today’s senior from Blackfoot High here where the studio is located is no exception. As soon as he graduates he will start school and play with Treasure Valley in Ontario, Oregon. To say he has a bright future is an understatement. Congratulations Dylan and the best of luck to you!

Baby Bronx

Today’s little family I was so honored and elated that they asked me to photograph their little Mr., Bronx, because they had to drive from out of state to come to the studio. This little man is destined to play sports and be an outdoors-man, as you can see from all of the amazing props that were incorporated. Baseball being a key part of his future. This little sleeping darling is just adorable and I could not be happier to be a part of helping his parents remember this day and how little he was forever.

I am always so grateful for my clients that take time from their day to come into the studio and have me capture their memories. As I have said before, Paisley Studios would be nothing without our amazing clients from all over and thank you is just not enough.

Cowboy Cache

I may need some help getting through until Fall, but sessions during those cool months with all the colors just makes me so eager to take pictures! Today’s session is no exception.
This handsome little cowboy turned one and was the cutest thing I ever laid eyes on! Riding the horse with Dad and playing with their cattle dogs made for some adorable memories. And his little one year old stance in all it’s wobbly cuteness was to die for. The cowboy hat seemingly took over his head, but how perfect was it on him? I love these sessions when there is so much detail in the family and what they do together. It makes for a more natural shoot.
Happy Birthday Cache!

Piper’s love of fashion is so addicting. She has an amazing personal style that made me want to go out and purchase all of her outfits. So it’s no surprise that she has been accepted to FIDM, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in L.A.! To put together her unique and fashionable shoot Piper pulled inspiration from Free People to help make it one of a kind with a personality that matched her own.

Piper has an amazing talent for pulling ensembles into reality just from looking at different pieces. To top it off she always looks good in them. She was a breath of fresh air to work with because of all the creativity that went into this session. I am so excited to see what she will be accomplishing in the next 4 years!

Congratulations Piper, FIDM is lucky to have you!
